We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chess Coach to join our team at Battle Chess Skool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching chess to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. You will develop strategic lesson plans, create a positive and engaging learning environment, and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role involves mentoring students, helping them grow both in their chess abilities and overall confidence, and nurturing a lifelong love for the game—whether for casual enjoyment or competitive advancement. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Chess Instructor located in whitefield Bangalore. As a Chess Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching chess to students, developing lesson plans, organizing chess tournaments, and evaluating students’ progress.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 0-3 years of competitive chess experience, with a proven track record of playing at a high level (state, national, or international experience is a plus)
- Certification (Preferred but not required): Chess coaching certifications from recognized organizations (e.g., FIDE, USCF) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in teaching or coaching chess is a plus
- Organizational Skills: Ability to track student progress, manage lesson schedules, and maintain records.
- Positive Attitude: A motivating and encouraging approach to coaching, creating a fun and supportive environment for all students.
Average Weekly Hours: Depending on your availability and student demand, expect to work between 15 to 25 hours per week.
Salary Range:
- Entry-Level (Fresher): ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on interview Performance)
- Experienced Coaches: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month (or higher, depending on experience)
