#### **Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced **SAP FICO Consultant** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to streamline our client’s financial and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities and experience with SAP system integration, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions.
#### **Key Responsibilities:**
– **Implementation & Configuration:**
– Lead or support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO (FI/CO) solutions.
– Gather and document business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO configurations.
– Perform system setup and configurations for SAP modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
– **Support & Optimization:**
– Provide day-to-day support for the SAP FICO module and resolve any issues related to the system’s functionality.
– Identify areas for process improvement and work to optimize SAP FICO functionalities.
– Perform system updates, upgrades, and patches for the FICO module.
– **Testing & Training:**
– Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure that SAP FICO processes are functioning correctly.
– Develop training materials and provide training to end-users on SAP FICO best practices.
– Support data migration activities for financial transactions and reports.
– **Collaboration & Reporting:**
– Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to ensure alignment between business processes and SAP configurations.
– Prepare documentation for solution designs, configurations, and processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
– Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting as needed.
#### **Required Qualifications:**
– **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
– **Experience**:
– Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO) configuration and implementation.
– Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and integration points between SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.).
– Experience with SAP S/4HANA or earlier versions is a plus.
– Previous experience in full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations (from design to go-live) is preferred.
– **Skills**:
– Proficiency in SAP FICO modules (FI and CO) with strong hands-on configuration skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams.
– Familiarity with business processes related to financial management and controlling.
– **Certifications** (Preferred but not required):
– SAP FICO certification or similar is a plus.
– Knowledge of other SAP modules like MM, SD, or integration with other business systems is a plus.
#### **Preferred Experience:**
– Experience working in multiple industries or global SAP implementations.
– Expertise in SAP S/4HANA transformations, migrations, and implementations.
– Familiarity with automated financial tools, robotic process automation (RPA), or other digital finance technologies.
