Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Staff Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with strong clinical skills, dedicated to promoting a safe and effective environment for patients. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and ensure patient well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care:
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients.
    • Monitor and record vital signs and other patient data.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
    • Assist with diagnostic tests and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
    • Provide wound care and other technical nursing services.
  • Documentation & Communication:
    • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in accordance with hospital policy and legal requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
    • Report any changes in patient condition to the attending physician immediately.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaboration & Education:
    • Collaborate with a healthcare team including doctors, specialists, and other nurses to coordinate care.
    • Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
    • Participate in professional development and continuing education.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bsc Nursing or GNM
  • Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State/Country].
  • Experience: 3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, or in a related clinical role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
    • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required depending on the department.
